NEW ALAAFIN: Basorun Of Oyo, A Victim Of Technological Oppression While Laguna A Man With Distorted History Book By Princess Adebisi

………. We don’t trust Oyomesi anymore, gov. Makinde, Oyo government should take over the process

Research revealed that 90% of humans are not psychologically free.

That’s why you see some people in captivity in different bad situations such as poverty, physical slavery, and marginalization.

According to Robert Kiyosaki: if you allow the history you are part of to be written in your absence, you can never be part of that history for life.

Situating this to the new Alaafin of Oyo.

It is no longer a rumor that Oyo kingmakers (Oyomesi) have placed the crown on the sales wall, and the highest bidder who had already paid couldn’t leave with his merchandise.
Wow! What a great loss.

The buyer has paid, and the sellers have received funds, but the merchandise wasn’t moved.

When next you hear one particular proverb that says, the most constant thing in life is change. Yes, CHANGE. Kindly respect that proverb whenever you come across it.

It was so clear that Oyomesi had no regard for nature, by expecting things to be done the way it was done 55 years ago during the selection of the Late Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi in 1970.

The basorun of oyo. High Chief Yusuff Ayoola Layinka 1, is the one I am pitying, the old man is confused. He didn’t know what technology was, so he fell victim to it.

How I wish Basorun Layinka had access to information about him in people’s archives. I am sure he must have been begging around the nation.

Quite unfortunately, Chief Layinka is still raising his tongue because he hasn’t seen anyone to tell him that his recorded voice, video record, CCTV footage, phone conversations of negotiations, amount of money involved, the sharing formula adopted, and the list of ill-gotten wheat beneficiaries are with people.

The execution officer of this useful information was perfect to the extent that no Nigerian lawyer could defend it in any court of law without having his or her record stained. No lawyer will sacrifice his career for such an embarrassing case.

The most annoying part was Chief Laguna who happened to be traditionally under Chief Basorun became a member of Oyomesi less than 5 years ago being naive with next to zero experience when it comes to royalty and installation of new alaafin narrating some false and unrelated histories of how he was closed to late Alaafin midi Adeyemi.

This reminds me of Yoruba Adage saying that when judgment is delayed, an Armed Robber could be favorably considered as not guilty.

He was busy telling media houses the histories that never existed just to establish a nonsensical reason to back off their atrocious acts.

We were in the same Oyo town when late Oba Adeyemi pitifully appointed him as Iba Laguna. Help me ask him how much he did late Alaafin collected from him before appointing him. The ingrate is now telling the media how he was close to the late Oba Adeyemi, lived in the palace, and understood how the palace was being ruined. From where to where? Between who and who? And at the front of who? He ( Iba Laguna) has no capacity in all areas of life to have worked with the late Iku baba-yeye that I knew.

At what department lagunna has worked in the palace, who was he reporting to? And what was his assigned responsibility?

Apart from the established palace functionaries, for anyone to work with the late Oba Adeyemi, you must be very intelligent, educated, very loyal, and secretive. So which one of these qualities does a liar and ungrateful personality like Laguna have that could have gained Iku Baba-yeye’s attention? I am sure, none of the above.

How could he have understood the terrain and traditional dynamics of Oyo as well as the players? To him, the only person that matters is his master (Basorun), yes! That’s right under normal circumstances but nothing is normal in its actual sense in the traditional arena and just like the saying goes in my mother’s tongue: Omo odo na o fi ogbon se e nitori bi a ba ran ni ise eru aafi too je ni (the servant deploys wisdom to run his master’s errands, when one is sent on an errand as a slave, such errand could be carried out with a mind of a freeborn).

If anyone carefully listened to him, one would understand he was just a triumphant sounding out exactly what Basorun was blowing out. Laguna didn’t know any history. Some of the Princes jostling for the vacant stool of Alaafin will sit him down and educate him historically for life.

He was narrating the histories of Oyo he knew nothing about. I challenged him to mention just 20 names of formal laguna of Oyo, I am not even saying he should mention all the 33 laguna that have ever been appointed by Alaafins from Oyo-ile to present-day Oyo. Because Lagunna’s title was established like 200 years after the Oyo empire had been in existence. I doubt he knows that. If he’s not aware of this, then he should stop narrating fake history without references. Oh my God, we are already missing Oba Lamidi. He will tell you history with facts and references. May his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace.

What a situation, Chief Basorun doesn’t know people are just waiting for the physical education slogans during the school day that say; on your track, set, and Go.

Oyomesi should know that Leveraging on Governor Makinde’s gentility and taking him for granted is completely disrespectful.

How I wish Governor Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, was the current governor of Oyo State, some people’s grandfathers would have rotted in jail by now.

Peace and truth.
