The local government coordinators for Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election have commended the governor for starting his second term administration on a good note.

The re-election coordinators known as G-33 made this known during their meeting held at Posmaki Lounge, Awolowo Avenue, in Ibadan.

The G-33 appreciated the state governor for finding them worthy of handling his re-election at the grassroots level.

While speaking to newsmen shortly after the meeting, the leader of Makinde’s G-33, former Oyo state chief Whip, Hon. Hakeem Adedibu explained that all the 33 local government coordinators that worked for the governor’s re-election saw the appointment as a privilege.

He however said the coordinators had worked assiduously which by God’s grace produced Governor Makinde’s resounding victory at the poll.

“We will continue to appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for allowing us to be part of his campaign team, he gave us the job and also supported us morally. We are assuring him that we will always be at his service during the Omituntun 2.0 administration.

“We also want to applaud the governor for his effort in developing the state, he started his second term from where he stopped, starting on a strong note, hitting the ground running with far-reaching policy decisions. In Oyo State today, governor Makinde has been able to bring these time-tested principles of race-running to bear on governance and the resultant effects have been massive and visible across all sectors of the state. These effects, appropriately named the GSM Effect, have elicited beautiful testimonies from residents of Oyo State.

“On behalf of the G-33, I am assuring Governor Seyi Makinde that, we will continue to support and surrender ourselves to his leadership,” Adedibu said.
