The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will hold its 81st Annual General Assembly this Saturday in Ibadan, Oyo State. The assembly, to be declared open by Oyo State Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, will take place at the Emeritus Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, opposite the University College Hospital, Orita-Mefa.
Dignitaries expected at the high-profile event include Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko; NSC Director General, Hon. Bukola Olopade; Senate Committee on Sports Chairman, Senator Abdul Ningi; and House Committee on Sports Chairman, Hon. Kabiru Amadu. Also invited are former NFF President Amaju Melvin Pinnick, former NFF 1st Vice President Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi, and ex-General Secretaries Ambassador Fanny Amun and Dr. Bolaji Ojo-Oba.
The General Assembly will be attended by all Chairmen and Secretaries of the 36 State Football Associations and the FCT, members of the NFF Executive Committee, league officials, coaches, referees, and player union representatives.
NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau (MON), will deliver a welcome address before the business session begins. NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, will present the activity report of the secretariat.
Key agenda items include approval of financial statements and budget, proposed amendments to statutes and standing orders, and possible admission of new members. The Assembly may also appoint an independent auditor, and deliberate on motions submitted by members and the Executive Committee.
