Makinde Leads Cabinet To Kickstart Operation Keep Oyo Clean
Early Tuesday Morning, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, Deputy governor Rauf Olaniyan, Chief of Staff Bisi Ilaka with other members of the State Executive Council and all top government officials was on roads to launch Operation Keep Oyo Clean which is aimed at eliminating the backlog of refuse and wastes been dumped across several locations in Ibadan metropolis and other parts of the State.
The event, which was attended by our men and officers led by the Executive Chairman, Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi came to an end at around 0245hours of today 26th November, 2019.
This further underscores our commitment to inter-agency collaborations aimed at achieving the common good of the people as our roles are not limited to road transport management but also other issues that threatens the safety and wellbeing of road users as well as the general public such as accumulated lump of wastes along the highways.
By this, the Oyo State Government under the exemplary leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde as demonstrated that it is poised to taking proactive measures aimed at forestalling epidemic and spread of deceases resulting from avoidable accumulation of solid wastes across road medians and other places within the State.
We therefore call on all residents within the State to join hands with the State Government to keep Oyo Clean and tidy.
