Over 220km road projects across Five geo political zones of the state have been embarked on and completed by Governor Seyi Makinde’s led administration in Oyo State.
The State commissioner for public works and transportation Prof. Daud Shangodoyin revealed this while featuring on BCOS’s current affairs live television Programme, Kutuhai which x-rayed the Seyi Makinde’s 5th-anniversary infrastructural impact in the state.
Prof. Daud Shangodoyin who gave a statistical analysis of the road project during the ongoing fourth republic in the state says the present administration during the Omituntun 1.0, 144.37km was constructed and completed while the ongoing Omituntun 2.0 has recorded another completed 76.5km road network.
Prof. Daud Shangodoyin further noted that road projects all conform to international specifications and Engineering details that will stand the test of time.
The Commissioner added that in a few days to come the newly constructed Ogbomoso- Fapote – Iseyin road will be inaugurated.
He further urged members of the public to report anyone caught vandalizing government property.
