As we all know, Ibadan North Local Government over the years has been a centerpiece for excellence, having the state many firsts seated on its soil.

Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo popularly known as Agba Egbe over the years has demonstrated an act of leadership that many might find strange or sees as uncommon among the political circuit in recent times, little wonder many have qualified him as a “Chief Servant” rather than being the emperor others would have expected him to be.

The municipal area before Agba Egbe’s leadership was never an attraction of discuss, considering its level of wrecked internal political dispensation, but having taken over the affairs of Ibadan North local government, the young and vibrant servant got many talking, stating the level of open door policies which no politician, residents or civil servant had accessed to in recent times.

Let me narrowly state a few points of his AGBAJOWO 1.0 in play, which everyone seems to have benefited from in a few years.

1). Economic Drive: The municipal area in recent times has been the mega-hub of an economic entity for the state, with his leadership, he has attracted countless investors in and around the council areas, citing the ongoing modern international business structures ongoing at the famous bodija market, which before now has been a nightmare of a project that never saw the light of the day. Recently, he got immediate approval for the reconstruction of the dilapidated internal Bodija market link road, which will commence construction in due time.

2) Security: Agba Egbe’s administration realized that the issue of security and development are intertwined, Ibadan North local government, been the biggest cosmopolitan local government area with the highest divisional police headquarters, sprung into action having seen the re-energization and restructuring of the non-actors in the security architecture of the council area having unprecedented synergy with all the actors in the security formation in line with the state government program towards a peaceful and safe society.

3) Health: With the unending synergy between the state government and the local government brought about the realization of a free health scheme that has been of great benefit to residents, having one primary health center positioned at each ward of the local government, equipped with modern-day facilities.

Agbajowo 1.0 has put in place an effective “Project Management” and Programme Management Discipline” that boosts Timing, Achievement of desired outcomes and ensures that Developmental Projects are delivered as planned.

His Steps of Action In Over Two (2) Include:
– Making Timely Decisions – Encouraging Creative Ideas – Giving Regular, Explicit, and Comprehensive Feedback on Performance and – Providing Personal Support.

4) From the incipience of his representation, – Agbajowo 1.0 has operated an “Open-Door Policy”… They have had in their best capacity to engage the influential and commoners alike, especially.

CONCLUSION
All said TIME is an ephemeral phenomenon and, perchance, History will be kind to Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe) for another chance to serve the good people of Ibadan North local government beyond 2024 for continuous and effective human face policies as no human is ????% perfect…..Agba Egbe!!! AGBAJOWO 2.0
