Just In: Screening Committee Releases Successful Candidates for 3rd Youth Parliament Assembly
The Oyo State Government, through the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, has directed all 109 applicants who successfully participated in the screening exercise for the 3rd Oyo State Youth Parliament Assembly to visit the Agency’s official portal and verify their status on the final shortlist of successful candidates.
The directive was issued by the Chairman of the Agency, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, as part of the concluding phase of the selection process for the state’s premier youth legislative platform.
According to the Agency, the final shortlist was compiled following a rigorous screening exercise aimed at identifying competent, passionate, and visionary young leaders who will represent their constituencies in the 3rd Youth Parliament Assembly.
Hon. Falana emphasized the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to youth inclusion, leadership development, and active participation in governance, noting that the Youth Parliament remains a critical avenue for nurturing future leaders and promoting democratic values among young people in the state.
He urged all screened applicants to promptly check the Agency’s portal for updates regarding the final selection and subsequent activities related to the inauguration of the 3rd Youth Parliament Assembly.
