The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has expressed profound appreciation to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for approving and facilitating the commencement of the construction of the Niko Wire and Cable–Orisunbare–Ita Faaji Road project.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Ido Local Government administration, the legislative arm, management team, staff, the PDP/APM family, and residents of the Niko Wire and Cable, Orisunbare and Ita Faaji communities, Adeojo described the governor’s intervention as timely and impactful.
He noted that the road project would bring lasting relief to residents who have endured years of hardship due to the poor condition of the road, particularly in the area of transportation.
According to the council chairman, the successful commencement of the project reflects Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing the welfare of the people across Oyo State.
Adeojo said the completion of the road would not only improve mobility but also stimulate economic activities and give the affected communities a new outlook.
The chairman praised Makinde’s leadership style, describing him as an amiable, dedicated, dynamic and hardworking leader whose passion for the development of Oyo State remains unmatched.
He also prayed for divine wisdom, strength and good health for the governor, expressing confidence that his administration would continue to deliver people-oriented projects and finish its tenure on a strong note.
Adeojo reiterated the gratitude of the people of Ido Local Government to Governor Makinde for what he described as another significant milestone in the state’s ongoing infrastructure development agenda.
