The residents of Ido local government area, Ibadan, Oyo state, have begun to shower encomium on the council chair, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, for the commencement of a major road grading project in key within the council areas to improve transportation infrastructure and enhance mobility.
The road grading is ongoing in areas such as Waja Ogunde, opere Anuoluwapo, Ella, Ile Ali Oloya, and others.
According to the Chief of Staff to the council chairman, Hon.Yahaya Abdulazeez he said, to ensure the free flow of traffic and safety of road users across the local government, Ido local government has commenced the grading of roads across all wards in the council area.
He emphasized the commitment of Adeojo’s administration to the delivery of quality service and good governance to every resident of the community and assured them of even distribution of the dividends of democracy.
Abdulazeez added that the grading of roads embarked upon by the council chairman will greatly help in moving vehicles through various parts of the local government area easier, assured that Adeojo will continue to work in the interest of the people of Ido local government.
Speaking on behalf of the residents, Mr. Taoreed Mudasiru commended the chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, for fulfilling the promise made during the electioneering”. He made a promise to fix our road and he fulfilled it. Before now the road is very not motorable at all for the commuters and private car owners.
