In a bid to promote health and wellness, the Ibadan North East local government area chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, on Saturday, joined a 10km fitness walk organized by Honor 103.5fm in Ibadan.
Honor 103.5fm, a radio station committed to promoting information dissemination, educating, and entertaining the public, embarked on a 10km Fitness Walk titled “Walk to Honor”.
The 10km Fitness Walk initiative was designed to promote healthy lifestyles and build relationships among the staff and its audience.
The event, which took place during the early hours of Saturday, December 7th, experienced a notable turnout, where employees connected and engaged with the public to spread awareness about the benefit of good health.
The fitness walk was widely appreciated by participators of the event.
The fitness walk, which began at the Radio station located in Bodija, entertained and gained the attention of passers-by in locations such as Bodija, Sango, and Mokola, featured music, exercises, and dance, and ended at the famous Lekan Salami Stadium.
Present at the event were Hon Sanda, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government; Hon Seun Olufade, Executive Chairman of Ibadan North; Hon Akeem Olatunji, Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local govt, amongst many other dignitaries.
