Gbenla Becomes Oyo APC UK Chairman, OFAB, Ahmad Olansile, Ronke Dairo Others Sworn in As Executive Members

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State Chapter in the United Kingdom (UK), has sworn in Bayo Amusat Gbenla as the new chairman.

Oyo APC UK also inaugurated a new set of Executives under the chairmanship of Mr. Gbenla.

Sunday Owolabi from Afijio local government is said will be assisting Amusat Gbenla, while Mr. Olasupo is the secretary.

Other members of the executives are Mrs. Ronke Dairo, Mr. Alalade, Mr. Yomi Oke, Mr. Ajibola Ogunremi, Mrs. Titilayo Oladigbolu, and Asiwaju OFAB, and Mr. Ahmad Olansile who hails from Akinyele local government area of Oyo state.

The new Oyo APC UK chairman is a mental health professional and was a steadfast member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and currently the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Gbenla is a true progressive (APC).

Gbenga spent more than ten years working in the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, before relocating to the UK. Meanwhile, this has never stopped him from participating in local politics in Nigeria, Oyo state in particular.

Gbenla is a businessman, philanthropist, elite, and political power in the Ibadan North East local government.

He was a member of the recreation co, the committee set up by the APC UK, in the aftermath of the fallout of the 2019 general election. The efforts that,t brought many progressive politici inanthe s, notable among fallout Gothe Vernor Adebayo Alao Akala, Sen. Lanlehin, and others, back to APC.

Dignitaries that graced the event were: Dr. Yunus Akintunde, Oyo Central APC se, national candidate, representing Oyo APC guber candidate, Sen. Teslim Folarin, Acting APC National chairman in the UK, Mr. Tunde Dorothy, Chairman, South West caucus, Mr. Muiwa Adesua, Chairman, Ogun APC UK, Mr. Andrew Adewunmi Taiwo, outgoing Chairman, Oyo APC UK, Mr.  Kolawole Saidu and many others.
