Chief Bayo Adelabu, Oyo state All Progressive Congress candidate in the last governorship election has hinted and showed praises on the political relevance of Alhaji Bisi Oloopeyan, a chieftain of Oyo state People’s Democratic Party.
The APC governorship candidate in 2019, Adelabu on Saturday eulogized Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan politically on air at Fresh105.9 FM Radio Station, a commercial radio station operating in Ibadan. He described Olopoeyan as great political leader, whom both have being maintaining brotherhood relationship for long irrespective of their political affiliate.
Bayo Adelabu when asked about his relationship with Olopoeyan, he described the PDP state leader as a “Light“, in which every politicians and individuals are willing to use to navigate.
” He is a brother , he is our Egbon, that is one thing about Ibadan and Oyo state, we are all brothers and politics should not celebrate us, so far we belongs to different political settings has not defeated the fact that we are brothers, so after election, we are back as brothers, he is my good Egbon and respected politicians.
When asked if he and Olopoeyan are now together for meetings, Adelabu debunked visiting Olopoeyan for political reasons.
” Which meetings ? If I visit Olopoeyan today am visiting him as my Egbon in Ibadan, you and as a known credible politician, you understand, so I didn’t think there is anything if I associate with Bisi Olopoeyan, I respect him so much and I told you if you being a leader and you are able to see the light, you gravitate towards the light. Adebayo Adelabu stated.
