Ayo Fatokun Distributes Educational Materials To School Pupils In Akinyele
The lawmaker representing Akinyele Constituency 1 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ayotunde Fatokun has continued to fulfill his campaign promises as he gave out over 500 exercise books to pupils at St Mathew Primary School, Isabiyi, Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Fatokun who doubles as the Chairman Parliamentary Council said that every child deserved to be educated and not just education, but good education, adding that education should be taken seriously as the children are the leaders of tomorrow.
He added that he is also sharing in the vision of Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde to take as many children out of the streets and put them in school to curtail the menace of out-of-school children. His efforts are to further enhance the achievements of GSM.
It should be noted that Hon. Ayo Fatokun has been giving qualitative representation on the floor of the house for the people and he has been making his voice to be heard as at when necessary. This has earned him respect among his colleagues and he is seen as the voice of the voiceless, a true representative of the people and one of the best and vibrant lawmakers in 9th Oyo Assembly.
Recall that Hon Ayo Fatokun organized Children’s Day Celebration for select primary schools in his constituency; the first of its kind in Oyo State by any legislator.
He also organized the first of its kind “Leadership Training for Secondary School Principals” in his constituency just last month; September 2021.
Each of the students got five note books, pen, pencils and other stationeries.
He has also promised to continue to contribute his quota to the development of Education in Akinyele and Oyo State.
