Awe Isolation Centre : Seyi Adisa Thanks Makinde, Says State govt. Has complement His Effort

Hon. Seyi Adisa, lawmaker representing Afijio state constituency has showered praises on governor Seyi Makinde, as a medical clinic he revived 14 months ago now equipped and commissioned as a COVID-19 isolation centre by Oyo state government.

Adisa acknowledged the effort of the state government, led by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde on the newly commissioned Awe COVID-19 isolation centre, said thou, the commissioned building was revived by him just before he was sworn in as lawmaker, but he is glad that the step he took then, now complemented by governor Makinde.

Adisa who always craves for politics of development said his intention to revive the clinic last year was to add up to the list of medical centres in his constituency.

” Exactly 14 months ago, on 19th of May 2019, just before I was sworn in, my team took the step to revive this clinic with the intention of adding it to the list of medical options here, and serve to the health needs of the over 200,000 people in Afijio. I’m glad that step is proving provident and timely.

” Yesterday, the commissioning of this same edifice, equipped by the efforts of the state government, led by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde as a COVID-19 isolation centre, is a well-informed and welcomed gesture, and on behalf of my constituency and the state, we are grateful.

” I believe our concerted efforts will ensure its optimized usage especially now, and also when we must have defeated the pandemic”. Hon. Adisa stated.

Hon. Seyi Adisa is one of the five opposition party ( APC ) lawmakers at Oyo state House of Assembly.
