APM Warns Against Impostors Claiming Party Leadership in Ido LG

The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State has cautioned members of the public, party faithful, stakeholders, and relevant authorities against individuals allegedly impersonating the party’s leadership in the council area.
In an official public notice issued by the party’s Ido Local Government chapter, APM stated that some persons have been falsely presenting themselves as the party’s Chairman and Secretary, warning that such claims are unauthorized and should be disregarded.

The party clarified that the only duly recognized Chairman of APM in Ido Local Government is Alhaji Nasirudeen Oladokun, while Engr. Prince Adetayo Rotimi remains the only recognized Secretary of the chapter.
According to the statement, the two officials are the legitimate officers of the party in the local government and their positions can be verified through the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and relevant security agencies.
APM urged members of the public not to recognize, engage, or conduct any official party business with anyone claiming to occupy the positions of Chairman or Secretary of the party in Ido Local Government other than the identified officials.
The party said the notice became necessary to prevent misinformation, protect the integrity of its leadership structure, and safeguard members and stakeholders from dealing with unauthorized individuals.

The statement was issued by the leadership of the Allied Peoples’ Movement, Ido Local Government Chapter, which reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining order and due process within the party.
