Lawmaker representing Ibadan North East state constituency 1, Hon. Olagoke Olamide Akinajo has felicitated with Oyo state governor, Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde on his 52rd birthday, which comes up on 25th December, 2019.
Hon. Akinajo congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued by his media secretary, Akindele Alabi Olore, in Ibadan on Tuesday.
The lawmaker joined members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, people of Oyo state, associates of governor Makinde, and his family in celebrating the unique history of a political icon and leader.
He noted that Makinde, within a short period, rose from being a
political seat chaser to becoming oyo state governor.
According to him, Makinde foray into politics and ascendency to the highest political office in Oyo state from a humble riverine background testifies to the greatness, and inclusiveness of democracy, and serves as an invitation to all those with interest to add value to their state and nation.
Hon. Akinajo prayed that the almighty God would bless Seyi Makknde with good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving the state.
