Agbaakin Chieftaincy Tittle : Ogbomosoland Youths Congratulate Sports Minister, Sunday Dare
Youth group under the aegis of Ogbomosoland Youths Assembly has congratulated Youth and Sports Minister, Mr. Sunday Akin Dare on his new chieftaincy tittle.
The group described Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland title as a well deserved tittle by Sunday Dare and commended Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, for giving such title to a son of the land with a patriotic mindset and unquestionable character.
Ogbomosoland Youths Assembly
in a statement signed by its convener, Ogbeni Azeez Sharafudeen Akano, said Sunday Dare installed as an Agbaakin by Soun was in recognition of his dedication and meritorious service to the city.
The statement read in part: “ We, the members of Ogbomosoland Youths Assembly congratulate our dear father, uncle, brother and role model, Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports Mr. Sunday Dare
in respect of his installation as Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland. No doubt the title given to Mr. Sunday Dare was in recognition of his meritorious services to our great city .
” We are sure, with this title conferred on sports Minister, Mr. Dare, he would add required values to Ogbomosoland’s culture and traditions and also would make him to contribute more positively to the development of our dear city, Ogbomoso.
“We also endlessly thank His Royal Majesty, Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III for the well-deserved chieftaincy title conferred on Mr. Sunday Dare.”
