The Ibadan Northeast Constituency 1 House of Assembly Candidate for New Nigerian People’s Party ” NNPP”, Engr. Akinade Samuel Akinbowale “BOBO” has sent a thank you for your support message to residents of Ibadan Northeast local government for overwhelming support given to him before and during the just concluded election.
Bobo appreciation to his constituents was contained in a statement issued to recognized the support he received from residents of his constituency, friends, and supporters, he also commended the overall leader of his party, Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan for giving him the platform and opportunity to contest.
The House of Assembly candidate for NNPP thereafter congratulated the state governor, Seyi Makinde, and his opponent from PDP, Abiodun Babalpla on their election victories.
” My sincere appreciation goes to the good people of Ibadan North East Constituency 1, family, friends, and well-wishers that supported my candidacy for state representative (House of Assembly).
” I thank you for the belief and trust you have in me, the efforts you all put into this journey, and the prayers that continuously lifted my spirits.
” Your countless acts of financial generosity and courage were beyond astonishing and I am forever grateful. Thank you.
” I witnessed and experienced immense love through the course of the journey. Be assured that the relationships you have built, and the seeds you have planted will be nurtured and reach far beyond the election cycle. You have helped lay the groundwork for a stronger and more experienced future candidacy.
” I would like to congratulate His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde on his re-election and also Hon. Abiodun Babalola on his victory and I wish them the best all through their tenure.
” Although I am disappointed with the outcome, my commitment to public service for the citizens of Ibadan North East Constituency 1 and beyond stands.
” I will continue to help others as much as I can while fighting for the ideals and principles to promote a stronger, healthier, and wealthier community and country.
” As the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy said, “For me, this campaign came to an end. For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dream shall never die”.
