Abidikugu Commiserates With Makinde, Olubadan In Council, Ibadan Indigenes Others Over Demise Of Olubadan

Dr. Adesina Kazeem Abidikugu (KSO) joins the people of Ibadan and Oyo State in mourning the death of Oba Adetunji, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, who joined his ancestors in the early hours of Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the age of 93.

KSO also commiserates with the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, the Olubadan- in-Council, the Otun Olubadan, Dr. Mashood Lekan Balogun, the former Governor of Oyo State and the Osi Olubadan, Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, other key political office holders over the loss of the aged Olubadan.

“Oba Adetunji ascended the throne as the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland in March 2016 and during his brief reign, he served as a distinguished monarch  as well as head of the Ibadan people, it is with pain to hear of the demise of such great king” said KSO.

He fervently prayed that the Almighty Allah in His infinite mercy grant Oba Adetunji Al-janah Firdaos mercy and give his immediate family and the entire people of Ibadan land the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

He prayed that Allah gives the council the courage to make the best judgement possible in selecting the next Olubadan of Ibadan.
