Hon. Philip Olasupo (Kasupo), the Federal House of Representatives candidate under the Accord Party for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency in the last general election, has joined the Royal Family, the Oyo State Government, the Olubadan-in-Council, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), and the entire sons and daughters of Ibadanland in mourning the demise of the Olubadan of Ibadanland. Oba. Owolabi Olakelehin.

In a condolence message issued on Monday, Hon. Kasupo described the late monarch as a revered traditional ruler who came, saw, and conquered.
He eulogized the late Olubadan, Oba Olakelehin as an epitome of tradition and custodian of Ibadan’s cultural heritage, who, throughout his reign, remained committed to the preservation and promotion of the age-long customs and values of the ancient city.
“The transition of our highly revered Kabiyesi is a great loss to Ibadanland, Oyo State, and indeed the entire Yoruba race. He was not only a symbol of unity and peace but also a stabilizing force whose wisdom guided the affairs of Ibadanland with distinction,” Kasupo stated.
