Akorede LCDA Boss Seeks Residents Support As State Begins Covid-19 Community Test In Oluyole

The Caretaker Chairman, Akorede Local Government Development Area, LCDA, Hon. Wahab Kazeem, LasKaz, has solicited the cooperation of the people of his locality with Oyo State government as COVID -19 community test and activation of samples’ collection sites kick – started.

Hon. Kazeem, who was with other political functionaries in the LCDA joined the state COVID-I9 medical team to make sure the whole exercise was a success.

While speaking at Olomi community school 1, one of the activated centres in Akorede LCDA, the council boss “said what else could Oyo state have asked for than good leader like Governor Seyi Makinde who shoulder the burdens of its citizens and ensure all measure are in place and even brought closer to his people.

He stated that the efforts of governor Makinde to access good health care in the local government and Oyo State in general would go a long way in the history of the state.

Hon. Kazeem said the community testing center initiative of the state government would in no small measure help at intensifying efforts at detecting more contacts and stop the spread of the pandemic.

Alhaja Adeleye, the Head of Local Government Administration, HLGA, Akorede LCDA ,urged the residents to come out enmass and get tested, while the exercise lasted.

The exercise which is targeted at ten local governments areas will span two weeks.
