2027 : Ibarapa North/Central Federal House Of Representatives Seat And Why Ticket Should Be Ceded To North By Adenekan A. Joshua

As the 2027 election approaches, I strongly disagree with the notion that it’s still far away. Similar deceitful points have been the tool in the past to justify undemocratic practices, allowing undemocratic power mongers and parties to enjoy intolerable opportunities in the Ibarapa Central/North federal constituency: They play their games best in times like now, sealing agreement that cannot earn the party wins at the secondaries but themselves alone in times of primaries, the innocent party members and supporter there suffer political gains since they don’t have access to national cakes like them. However, as our responsibility, we are now avoiding the risk of repeating such mistakes by righting the wrong for the good of all.

Interestingly, unlike in the dark ages, when one Honorable member will not just be inaccessible by not just his constituents but also as point of fact his popular supporters and allies, I am speaking of those dark ages when centralisation of exposure was mature in favour of a local Government alone. Today, men and women with relevant exposure are equally represented in the both local government areas constituting this blessed constituency of 5 principal communities. Nature has done this balancing act for us, and now exposure they said we once lacked is ubiquitous, found all over, and not scarce or limited to one local government area.

Affirmatively, no doubt about the facts above but regarding the Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North communities, there exist still significant differences, but I write only hoping these differences I am wanting to point out will cause no disruption of maintained tranquility in a progressive party along the calm ones corridors.

Demographically speaking, considering the case of past representation at the Federal House of Representatives-NASS, series of Statistics of political participation portrayed a subject for obvious dynamism/differences because the game of number—Political cakes favoured the Central Ibarapa than the Ibarapa Northern geopolitical Local Government area, both then and today. Even though the North has the population at her advantage it is to no relevant evaluation so far in the cake sharing although the Central community can argue on papers as expected, but the last General election results should dispose these arguments by them swiftly.

Today, we are proud and happy to have observed that fair-minded youth with imponderable competence and values are well-known in Ibarapa Central/North Federal and State Constituencies. These youth are not just closer to the people but loved by the entire masses, and their acceptability is demonstrable. The older party men/leaders are not our enemies but our fear lingers on whenever they failed to recognise that united and populous body of youth deserve to represent in various government parastatals and feature in elections as party flag-bearers, particularly the House of representatives.

In as much as the two local governments constituting the community of concern have the right to represent the Constitutuency—why were we ‘now’ familiar with the 8 out of the 10 plenaries in favour of Ibarapa Central while just and only 2 out of 10 accounted for Ibarapa North? I think the unfairness in the ticket distribution is accountable for this

As we all know, there are two well recognised parties in the politics of the constituency and luckily for the APC, the counterpart PDP has always in the past been denying consideration for the most populated Ibarapa Local Government while even our dependable APC party only gave the ticket 2 or 3 times as well, during these periods, Ibarapa North Secure the wins easily against the central counterparts. Well, half-bread is still better than none, deserved Kudos to the APC.

While PDP of today on one hand is handcuffed and is still proposing no consideration for the populated Ibarapa North Local Government in the coming HOR elections, being that what they are only interested in is the Ibarapa Central candidacy always.

The APC of today on the other hand, televises itself as the living party that houses cerebral particularly, Ibarapa North inclusively—We can always give thanks to the government and party that supported the emergence of Hon. Ojoawo Iloko, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Although, unverified reports has it that among the people vying for the House of Representatives ticket again included Honourable brothers and fathers from the APC in the Central Part of the Zone, these people we only expected as party stalwarts who should have understood the Northern deservedness. If the reports are true, We wish the party well but it may be another opportunity for the opposition, So we implore such “Jagba” colleagues to please continue with their understanding of the current demography that will hopefully yield positivity in the nearing 2027 —The Ibarapa North Agenda.

Clearly speaking, it is pitiful that the current PDP houses at least two potential flag-bearers from Ibarapa Central are effortlessly shaking the Northern party boy’s fate with ease and they will do this successfully until their proposed retirements in 2027 is confirmed by the Progressive, developmental and equality party, APC.

As a matter of necessity, we cannot underemphasize the fact that the Unity of our party APC should be a priority currently but at the same time, some mistakes should be corrected distantly too, an obvious correction could include weaning of inaccessible and youth-hating politicians from consideration for the ticket in the first place because this time as well, such persons will not only loose elections but also woefully and party division may be precede this. Nowadays, drastic changes have reached the supporters at the grassroot as well for people now want to hear from their Honourable within weeks and not yearly basis.

Penultimately, I want us to be reminded that when the two fathers of the PDP of today were freely controlling the fate of their world and wards, Our prayers are with the APC that a young, vibrant, and ready party man with sufficient exposure succeed from and for the Ibarapa North/Central Federal Constituency in 2027 HOR race.
The game will be sweet, and may we all witness 2027 and beyond together, Amen.
