100 Days In office: Makinde Has Made Governance Easier – Ibadan Northeast LG Chair
The executive local government of Ibadan Northeast, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde over his laudable achievements since assuming power, saying that the visible effort added to the developments in the state in the last 100 days of his second term are indications that the Governor is ahead of his ancestors.
Akintayo, in an appreciation message to the governor of Oyo State, for his meritorious service to the state, especially in the North-East local government, said Seyi Makinde has made governance easier.
The council chairman said he and the people of Northeast were impressed with the performances of Gov. Seyi Makinde during Omititun 1.0, expressing optimism that Oyo state would witness notable transformation in the months ahead.
“I wish to congratulate His Excellency Seyi Makinde on his 100 days in office during Omititun 2.0 and also to commend him for his strive to make Oyo state greater again. His unrelenting efforts had made governance easy to run.
“He ( Makinde) has once said he doesn’t believe in 100 days in office, a year or two years in office, but believes in working for the people of Oyo state till the last day of his administration.
“His excellency had proved the critics wrong, he started on a good note again, The first 100 days of Omititun 2.0 had set another new record for his administration.
“No doubt, Governor Seyi Makinde has established a standard in governance for others to follow and future governors to emulate.
“With the governor’s unrelenting effort in the first 100 days of Omititun 2.0, there is optimism that Oyo state would witness notable transformation in the months ahead, Alawode added.
