Sabiganna, Oba Saliu Oyemonla Cheers Nigerians On Democracy Day, Praises Tinubu’s Struggle, Sustenance Of Democracy
HRM, Oba Saliu Azeez Oyemonla, the Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom and Chairman, Traditional Council in Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State has extended felicitations to Nigerians on Democracy Day, and however described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a silver lining in Nigeria’s chequered history.

The Monarch maintained that June 12, which has been acknowledged as a Democracy Day can’t be passed by without cheering Nigerians and political leaders across boards.
The Monarch also showered encomiums on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s firm democratic stance and principles that characterise him as a silver lining in Nigeria’s chequered history.
He hinted that the battles which PBAT had fought on institutionalisation of nascent democracy for optimum dividends for citizenry, deserves commendations.
Oba Oyemonla added that President Tinubu’s administration is no doubt taking necessary steps through bold reforms and restructuring that confirms his renewed hope agenda for better Nigeria.
The Chairman, Traditional Council in Iwajowa LG urged citizens to be patient with his administration and give him needed support that will restore patriotism back to Nigerians’ national lives.
He lauded Tinubu’s economic reforms but advised to do something on price control and improvement of security architecture in the country.
In another vein, the Monarch commended the late business mogul and politician, Chief MKO Abiola for his doggedness and boldness to sacrifice his life for attainment of nascent democracy in Nigeria today.
He congratulated Nigerians on victory, as today truly marked the 31st anniversary of the annulled June 12, 1993 Presidential Election poll won by the late business mogul.
The Monarch prayed God to repose the soul of late hero and bless the current leaders with knowledge and intuition to deliver on good governance.
