His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Bashir Olalekan Abioye Siyanbola (IV), the Onigbeti of Igbeti Kingdom, is a distinguished monarch, engineer, community leader, and advocate of social development whose life reflects a blend of royal heritage, academic excellence, professional accomplishment, and commitment to public service.
Born on April 3, 1978, into the prestigious Okose Ruling House (Siyanbola Family) in Igbeti, Olorunsogo Local Government Area of Oyo State, His Royal Majesty is the son of the late HRH Oba (Alhaji) Rabiu Abioye Siyanbola (III), the 14th Onigbeti of Igbeti Kingdom, and Madam Bintu Fatimoh Abioye, daughter of the late Alhaji Gbadamosi Adegoke Adeniji, the 9th Baale Sagbo of Igbeti land.

With royal lineage from both his paternal and maternal backgrounds, Oba Bashir Olalekan Abioye Siyanbola (IV) inherited a rich legacy of traditional leadership, service, and responsibility, which has continued to shape his vision as a custodian of the culture, heritage, and aspirations of the people of Igbeti Kingdom.
*Educational Background*
His Majesty began his educational journey at the age of nine when he enrolled at Community Primary School, Olopoto, Igbeti, where he obtained his primary education between 1984 and 1989.
He later proceeded to Muslim Community High School, Igbeti, from 1989 to 1995, where he completed his secondary education. Driven by a passion for creativity, innovation, and technological advancement, he pursued technical education at the Government Technical College, Epe, Lagos State, between 1996 and 1999, where he obtained his National Technical Certificate (NABTEB).
Furthering his academic pursuit in engineering, His Majesty attended Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, from 2000 to 2003, where he obtained a National Diploma (ND) in Mechanical Engineering. He later proceeded to the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, between 2008 and 2010, where he earned his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering.

*Professional Career*

Before ascending the throne, His Royal Majesty built an impressive career in the engineering and manufacturing sector.
He began his professional career in 2004 at Dunlop Nigeria Plc, Ikeja, Lagos State, where he served in the Maintenance Engineering Unit of the company. His technical expertise, dedication, and commitment to excellence later earned him an opportunity to join Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Agidingbi, Ikeja, in 2005.
At Cadbury Nigeria Plc, he became an integral part of the engineering team, contributing significantly to the company’s operations and maintenance systems. He served the organisation meritoriously until his resignation in 2023, after an accomplished career spanning nearly two decades.
During his time at Cadbury Nigeria Plc, His Majesty also served as the Vice President of Cadbury Nigeria Plc Cooperative Society, an organisation recognised for its remarkable financial performance and one of the largest turnovers among cooperative societies in Lagos State.
*Ascension to the Throne*
Following the footsteps of his forebears, His Royal Majesty ascended the throne of his ancestors as the Onigbeti of Igbeti Kingdom on February 12, 2024.
Since his coronation, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to preserving the cultural values of Igbeti Kingdom while promoting peace, unity, development, and improved welfare for his subjects.
As the traditional ruler of Igbeti, he has continued to champion initiatives aimed at strengthening community development, encouraging youth empowerment, and fostering collaboration between traditional institutions, government, and other stakeholders.

Oba Bashir Olalekan Abioye Siyanbola (IV) is an expert in project planning and management, Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S), mechanical engineering, and heat energy transfer systems.
Beyond his professional expertise, His Majesty has participated in several trainings, seminars, and conferences focusing on peace and conflict resolution, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainability leadership, and corporate responsibility.
