2. The meeting deliberated on a wide range of issues that border the inconsistency of some members of the National Working Committee, the purported illegal dissolution of the state Exco in Oyo, and the self-centered and overconfidence of the national party leader, Engr. Rabiu Musa KWANKWASO.

3. Following exhaustive discussions and consultations, the meeting resolved as follows:

a. Oyo NNPP leaders, stakeholders, and members reject the decision to dissolve the state executive in Oyo state made by the NATIONAL WORKING COMMITTEE. The acclaimed dissolution is not only made in error, is an illegal decision made by a few people at the national office to suit the aims and objectives of a particular group and

leader.

b. We see it as necessary to remind the purported NWC that made the illegal decision that Oyo state party Excos just spent three months in office, having sworn in on April 4 and ratified by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC on May 5, with the expectation to end tenure by April 3, 2028.

c. NNPP in Oyo state without an apology needs to make it clear that, before, during, and after the general election, the leaders and party members have been in accord, and continue to promote the unity and progress of our dear party, we urged the party progress minded NWC members, leaders to find a way to support and encourage us for more progress of the party in our state.

d. Moreover, on behalf of the state executive, party leaders, and members, we registered our displeasure about some none party members and unidentified elements going around using the NNPP name and logo to promote their social group ( Kwankwasiya). In Oyo state, nothing like “NNPP Kwankwasiya” but only NNPP.

e. Today, we are making it clear, for and to whom it may be concerned, that NNPP is a political party, while their Kwankwasiya is a social group; we urged them to leave out NNPP whole trying to drive their group activities, especially in Oyo state. NNPP was registered as a political party in year 2000 by Boniface Aniebonam, a politician from Anambra state, who is also serves the BOT of the party.

f. Lastly, Oyo NNPP leaders, members after rigorously observing, monitoring, and tolerating the political activities of the national leader of the party, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for a while, today after much analysis and deliberation, we resolved to the conclusion that the former Kano state governor, cant not regarded as a consistent, accommodating and focus political leader, we hereby pass a vote of no confidence in his leadership.

4. Regarding all, the meeting commended our overall leader, Alhaji Adebisi Adeyemi Olopoeyan, for his unwavering support of the party in the state; we also declared our unalloyed support to Oyo state chairperson, Hon. Mrs. Ayobamidele Idowu Adekunle and his entire executives.
