The Oyo state chapter of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, on Wednesday, commiserated with the APC over the death of the state chairman of the party, Hon. Isaac Omodewu.
APC state Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare confirmed the death of the party chairman on Monday after a brief illness in the United States of America.
Oyo NNPP, in a statement in Ibadan through its publicity secretary, Ademola Oke, signed by state Chairperson, Ayobamidele Idowu Adekunle described Omodewu’s death as shocking, painful, and an irreplaceable loss to the entire family, party and Oyo state.
” Oyo NNPP extends deep condolences to the Oyo State chapter of the APC, family, political associates, and the people of Oyo State on the irreparable loss of Hon. Isaac Omodewu.
” Chief Omodewu’s death is a huge blow not only to his family and APC but also to the sons and daughters of Oke Okun and Oyo State in general.
“In this moment of sorrow, we urge family, all members and supporters of the APC party to remain strong in honoring the memory of the late Hon. Omodewu.
‘ Our hearts and prayers are with his nuclear and extended families, friends, political allies, and the entire Oyo APC family in the state during this very trying time,” Oyo NNPP stated
