The Nigeria labour Congress Oyo State Council has reiterated its commitment to the welfare of its workers.
This was made known during the 2023 Workers’ day retreat held at Ilaji Hotels and Resort in celebration of the the Workers all over the world.
The outgone head of service in the state Alhaja Ololade Agboola who was accompanied by her husband Senator Hosea Agboola, along some other eminent personalities were honoured for thier various contributions towards the development of NLC.
Others are , Special Adviser to the Governor on Labour, Comrade Bayo Titilola Sodo, CEO, Ilaji Resorts Engr (Dr.) Dotun Sanusi and former Secretary NLC, Comrade kofo Ogundeji.
While appreciating the NLC for the honoured done on them, the Awardees encouraged the union to cooperate with Oyo State Government in the development of the state and practice all inclusive government.
They also promised to facilitate the NLC quarterly meeting with Governor Seyi Makinde as proposed by the Governor.
The event had in attendance eminent personalities, NLC State Executive Council members and other invited guests.
