Over the years, the Oluyole Federal Constituency has had shoddy representation at the Federal House of Representatives. Most of the candidates who were given the opportunity to act on behalf of the citizens were self-seeking politicians who were typically dominated by avarice to the detriment of the people.
However, this narrative is about to change for the better with the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate, AbdulMojeed Olawale Mogbonjubola, a.k.a “Jagaban of Oluyole”, tossing his hat into the ring.
Mogbonjuola’s foray into politics is not about himself, but his people. Indeed, it is about his committment to serve humanity; a promise he made to himself to do all he can to positively affect the lives of his people. Mogbonjubola attended the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife for his Bachelor of Science (Bsc) and Master of Science Degrees in Architecture. Today, he is a seasoned Architect and Builder with decades of professional practice experience.
His professional pages of life are filled with success stories. Unlike many Political actors around today who have little or no history of service, Mogbonjubola worked for many conglomerates and business owners like Econet Nigeria Limited, Standard Trust Bank, First City Monument Bank, Diya Fatimilehin & Co, Federal Housing Authority, TREVO to mention but a few.
His affable disposition has not only attracted him to the youth, but also the elderly in Oluyole Federal Constituency. The man’s humane and humble traits, a rarity when compared with those who represented the Oluyole Federal Constituency in the past, have made him the man to beat. Truly, amongst the contestants seeking Oluyole’s seat at the Green Chambers, Mogbonjubola is in a class of his own.
