Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, says it has deployed officers and men of the corps to strategic places for a crime-free Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
This is contains in a statement signed in Ibadan by the corps public relations officer, Mr Oluwole Olusegun for the NSCDC Commandant, Alhaji Iskilu Akinsanya.
Alhaji Akinsanya called on officers of the corps in the state to intensify surveillance and patrol of critical infrastructure, flash spots, shopping mall, government installations and NNPC right of ways across the state to forestall criminality.
The NSCDC boss, implored the general public to cooperate and give out useful information whenever they suspect any strange movement or person for quick reaction.
Alhaji Akinsanya who felicitated with Muslims, urged them not to forget the laid down rules of Covid-19 pandemic while celebrating to curtail the spread of the virus.
