Mulikat Akande Organises Goat, Sheep Training For 200 Youths In Ogbomoso, Oke-Ogun, To Empower Participants With 100k Each

To increase food production and create employment opportunities for youths, former House of Representatives Majority Leader, Rt. Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola has
kicked off a three – day training and empowerment programme for
200 people across Ogbomoso and Oke – Ogun areas.

The participants in the sheep and goat farm training programme are to receive 100,000 each, to invest in the farming business after training programme.

The three – day training and empowerment programme is said to be in three batches, with the first batch programme already commenced on Wednesday 9th, at Jokodolu foundation, Aroje , Ogbomoso, to end on Friday 11th.

The first batch contained 50 participants while second batch will be with 100 participants, to holds next week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday while the week after is scheduled for the third batch with the remaining 50 participants to partake, all at the same venue in Ogbomoso.

It is said, the participants, after the end of the training will be helped to
developed more interest in the production of sheep and goats, will got knowledge and skills for construction of house for sheep and goats production, moreso will have knowledge and skills to manage sheep and goats production.

Similarly, the participants will be able to build competence in raising healthy sheep and goats.
