The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed lawyer and communication strategist Anthony Ehilebo as his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication.
The appointment takes immediate effect, according to a statement issued on Thursday by Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the governor’s Special Adviser on Media.
Olanrewaju added that further appointments to the campaign team would be announced in due course.
Makinde said Ehilebo’s experience in law and strategic communication would be an asset to the APM’s campaign ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The governor said the appointment would strengthen the party’s communication strategy and advance its message of resetting Nigeria as it seeks victory at the polls.
Makinde also called on Nigerians to support the APM, describing the 2027 election as an opportunity to redirect the country’s political course.
He criticized the administration of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), describing its leadership as a failure, and urged Nigerians to back the APM in the forthcoming election.
“With unity, courage, and determination, we will reclaim Nigeria’s destiny and deliver the future our people deserve,” Makinde said.
The governor added that the APM would intensify its mobilisation efforts and continue to engage Nigerians around its campaign message ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
