The National Executive Council of New Nigeria People’s Party on Saturday upheld the suspension of Oyo state party chairman, Sesan Adegbola.
The decision was made during the meeting of the members of the council in Abuja.
It will be recalled that the National Working Committee ( NWC) of the party had last Tuesday affirmed the suspension of the state chair after a vote of no confidence passed on him by the state working committee.
Adegbola was suspended by the Oyo state party Working Committee for alleged anti-party activities and financial misappropriation.
The NNPP NEC during the meeting also upheld the expulsion of Ogun and Delta state chairmen, as well as dissolved Ekiti’s state NNPP executive council and also suspended Mr. Olayinka Dada
