Two chairmanship aspirants of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Taiwo James Ayanwale, popularly known as Kameel, and Hon. Adedamola Temitope, popularly known as Elegant, have extended support to party members and the elderly through separate empowerment initiatives.
Hon. Ayanwale distributed cash gifts and food items to elderly residents and members of the APM in Ido Local Government, describing the gesture as part of his commitment to improving the welfare of the people and strengthening grassroots support within the party.
He said the empowerment programme was aimed at providing relief to beneficiaries, particularly the elderly, while reaffirming his dedication to people-centred leadership and community development.
In a related development, another APM chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Adedamola Temitope Elegant, also donated cash to members of the party in Ido Local Government as part of efforts to support the party faithful and appreciate their commitment.
The separate gestures by the aspirants were well received by beneficiaries, who commended the initiatives and expressed appreciation for the support.
