The 10 councillors of Ido Local Government, led by the Honourable Leader of the House, Hon. Adebowale Adedeji, have unanimously endorsed Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo’s candidacy for the Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency in the forthcoming National Assembly election.

In a strong display of solidarity, the councillors commended Hon. Adeojo’s exemplary grassroots engagement, unwavering commitment to community welfare and development, and proven political track record. They emphasized his effective, homegrown leadership and a deeply rooted local figure, not an imported politician and his proven political antecedents aligned with the aspirations of residents.

“Hon. Sheriff Adeojo has consistently championed our people’s welfare at the grassroots level,” said Hon. Adedeji. “His track record speaks for itself, and we are confident he will deliver sustained progress for Ido Local Government and beyond.”

The councillors urged political leaders across the constituency to prioritize candidates with verifiable performance and tangible contributions to constituency growth and the party’s success, while cautioning against untested politicians.

This endorsement shows the mounting grassroots support for Hon. Adeojo as the reliable choice to represent Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
