Ido Council Chair, Adeojo Motivates Indigent Students With Free JAMB, WAEC Forms
The Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has freely distributed JAMB and WAEC forms to indigent secondary students in the local government area.

The chairman, while distributing forms to the students selected from various secondary schools in Ido, admonished the students to make the best use of the opportunity given to them by coming out with flying colors in both the JAMB and WAEC exams.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo said education is one of the cardinal focuses of his administration, and he would not leave any stone unturned to assist serious students in making their academic dreams come to reality by giving them the right support.
The Ido council boss said the idea behind free JAMB and WAEC forms distribution is to assist brilliant students whose parents are financially incapacitated to obtain the forms, not to dash their hopes in achieving greatness through educational attainment. It is in this way my administration has taken it upon itself to support indigent students.
The council helmsman, therefore, charged the students to focus on their studies to be victorious in their JAMB and WAEC exams and serve as motivation on the part of the local government to make it a yearly activity.

While commending the chairman’s effort in giving succor to the students of secondary schools in Ido, the Principal of Community High School, Ido, Mr. Adeniyi Oluseyi Samuel, who doubles as Ido NUT chairman, said the students presented were carefully selected from different schools with clear cut criteria with the support of principals of other secondary schools.
He said the majority of them are from homes battling with financial crises whose parents could not afford to obtain forms for the children. He said further that all the schools in Ido will engage both old and newly employed teachers in preparing their students for both exams

Thanking the chairman on behalf of the co-students, Miss Lawal Rokibat Olamide of Akufo High School pledged that they would study hard to justify the huge amount the local government expended on obtaining the forms.
