Ibadan Cultural Week: Hon. Semih Alao Fecilitates With CCII, Commend Awardees
Hon. Semih Alao, one of the young promising Ibadan sons on Saturday joined millions of Oyo State indigenes to celebrate this year Ibadan Cultural Festival with the Central Council Of Ibadan Indigenes ( CCII ).
In a released statement made available to press on Saturday by his media aide, Mr. Abiodun Fadeyibi Omotosho ( Alpacino ), the Ibadan born politician commended the unrelenting efforts of some group of Ibadan Sons and Daughters that comprises of Ibadan Central Council Of Ibadan Indigenes ( CCII ).
Said, With the caliber and enthusiasm of people that assembled serving Ibadan-land
through taking on the responsibilities of a “Community Government” to Socio-Cultural mandates, the continuous development of Ibadan City is assured.
“Our dear CCII is rightly positioned and absolutely confirmed as the Voice, the Face and the symbol of the Ibadan people and their heritage”.
” Our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters has being doing a wonderful job in restoring our cultural value and norms, so, it is imminent this set of so called CCII are capable of lobbying government to get our Ibadan dream city”. Hon. Semih Alao added.
Congratulating the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Soliu Olatunji Ogungunniso 1, Hon. Semih said, current peace and unity in Ibadan and within Ibadan indigenes can be ascribed to the peace loving king as his royal leadership is reflecting withing city. ” during Kabiesi reign we have being witnessing peace and maximum security to life and property. The sons and daughters are more units, the resent successfully concluded Ibadan Cultural week was also a part of Olubadan blessings. Ki Ade o pe Lori ooo, Kabiesi” hon. Furthermore, Semih Alao, a Civil Engineer, described this year Ibadan Cultural Festival Awardees as a real Ibadan City born ambassadors.Eulogising the awardees, he said Engr. Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Ex CP, Fatai Owoseni, Engr. Sanusi ( CEO Ilaji Farm ) and other’s contributions towards bringing Ibadan City to limelight is visible.
