He Decamped From Ib’ North PDP To Ido PDP Chapter, Not From Our Party – NNPP Tells Wasiu Adeleke, Adeojo
Leaders and stakeholders of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP in the Ido local government area of Oyo state have advised the ruling party, the People’s Democratic Party not to be deceived by a former member of the party, Semiu Folarin Olohun Ero, who was reportedly decamped from NNPP to PDP in Ido local government.
It will be recalled, that the People’s Democratic Party, Ido local government received members of the opposition party in a funfair event held at the local government Secretariat, where one Semiu Folarin Olohun Olorun Ero was said to have left NNPP for PDP.
In a swift reaction, NNPP said, Semiu Folarin Olohun Ero has seized to be a member of the party immediately after the 2023 general elections.
The party in a video evidence revealed that Semiu Folarin left NNPP for PDP Ibadan North local government around March 2023.
According to Hon. Saheed Olunlade, the 2023 election NNPP assembly candidate who spoke on behalf of leaders and stakeholders of the party in Ido local government, Semiu Folarin
seized to be a member of NNPP immediately after the election.
” He is a member of PDP in Ibadan North local government, not NNPP, he left Ibadan North PDP to Ido PDP and for the benefit of the doubt, we will make viral the video he uploaded on his social media page on March 25th, last year.
” NNPP has a new membership card, the one Semiu Folarin Olohun Ero displayed was an old party card, if he has been in NNPP, he is supposed to have a new party card, which the party started issuing in April last year,” Olunlade said
NNPP Ido chapter thereafter advised Oyo state PDP, state secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, and Ido local government chairman, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo to be wary of Semiu Folarin Olohun Ero’s political antics and not to take the defection seriously as he is still a member of PDP in Ibadan North while announcing his defection to PDP again in Ido.
