The truck was said to have as well crushed about three other taxis cars.

A witness who did not want his name mentioned said only a boy from the family of three involved in the accident escaped death by the whiskers.

The witness explained that the boy just snatched his hands off his grandma and fled to safety.

The witness noted that luck was in favour of another woman of whom nobody could account for how she survived under the truck.

Ibrahim who lost children and his mother to the accident, was not coherent to give details.

Ibrahim, however, insisted that the driver of the truck be produced.

The situation, however, became very tense as sympathisers insisted that the truck should not be moved away from the scene.

Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in Oyo State, Mr Gbenga Fadeyi proved abortive as he did not respond to calls put through his telephone line.
