Ex- FOSSU National Senate President Mourns Aborode, Commiserates With Family
........ Urges Government, Ibarapa Political Office Holders To Work On Security Architecture
Comrade Oke Wasiu Ayinde “Pattern”, the immediate past FOSSU National Senate President had joined people of Ibarapa, Oyo state and the nation as a whole to mourn the death of Dr Fatai Aborode, who was killed near his farm, along Apodun village, Iganagan by suspected Fulani herdsmen, on Friday evening.
Pattern, in his condolence message to the family described late Aborode as a man who lived his live to serve his people, urged the state security personnel to swing into action to fish out the perpetrators of the evil act and brought them to book.
His statement read :
” I commiserate with the family of over the unfortunate death of Dr Fatai Aborode, the CEO of Kunfayakun Green Treasures and former House of Representatives candidate of the Accord Party in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency.
” I believe that the memories of the deceased as a man who made a great difference by wholely serving humanity while alive will bring his relatives great comfort.
” May the Almighty repose the soul of the dead one as well as uphold the bereaved relatives.
” I urge the security personnel to spring into action to ensure that the perpetrators of the gruesome murder be identified and brought to book.
” Also, the rising spate of insecurity in the state – and, by expansion, the nation at large – calls for serious concern. I hereby urge all stakeholders in Ibarapa, as a matter of urgency, to prevail on the state’s executive and leadership to summon a Security Summit in a bid to rejig as well as improve the security architecture of the state.
This is to forestall recurrence of similar event in the future.
