NNPP Federal House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Ibrahim Olanrewaju Ajiboye has charged Muslims in the state to use the Eid-el-Maulud occasion to pray for peace, security, free, fair, and transparent elections come 2023.

The NNPP lawmaker for the Ibadan North East and South East Federal Constituency made the call on Sunday in his goodwill message to Muslims on the occasion of Maulud to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

He urged Muslims in the state to use the occasion of this celebration to pray for the success of the 2023 general elections.

Omo Iya Eleja admonished Muslims, and politicians in Oyo state to emulate the good virtues of the Prophet, including honesty, humility, peaceful coexistence, and love for one another.

” It is necessary for us to use this year Eid-el-Maulud for thoughtful reflection as we prepare for the general election.”

” Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him,
became famous for his life of humility, justice, and fairness, therefore, as we commemorate his birthday today, we should seize the opportunity to pray for unity and prosperity of our state and total peace during and after the 2023 elections”, Omo Iya Eleja stated.
May God bless my people of Ibadan Northeast Southeast Federal Constituency and Nigeria at large.
