The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally scheduled to hold tomorrow in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, has been postponed.
According to information gathered by westerndailynews.com, the APC Presidential Campaign Rally postponement was necessitated due to security concerns in the state.
It will be recalled that there has been a protest in the city of Ibadan over the scarcity of naira and fuel.
The protest began again on Monday morning at the gate of the University of Ibadan. The protesters blocked the institution’s gate, thereby preventing vehicular movement and other activities.
While speaking to one of APC leaders in the state about the postponement, it was learned that the party made the decision, with fear that, the rally might be hijacked by opposition hoodlums.
The expected rally is said to have been shifted to Wednesday next week.
