Akorede LCDA Chair Promises Improved Health Care For Residents

Hon. Wahab Kazeem, the Akorede Local Council Development Area has assured residence of his council a free and improved health care, modern facilities with a transformed health centres across communities.

The council chairman made the disclosure during his visits to Heath Centers within Akorede LCDA, Hon. Wahab Kazeem registered his displeasure over the poor state of facilities at the various health centers visited, he alleged the health workers of not working inline with the free healthcare policy of governor Seyi Makinde in the state.

” healthcare is prioritized by our governor, as it is understood to be one of the factors in the quest of the government to make life easier and oyo people are happier, our council should not be left out ” hon Kazeem stated.

According to Hon. Kazeem, his administration would key into the vision of the governor by ensuring that treatments at all health centers in the LCDA starting from card issuance, drugs, needle etc are made free.

“To make it possible for communities to feel the impact of governance at the grassroots, the governor has improved on healthcare facilities in the state, so each council areas needs to make sure the effort of the Makinde is complemented”.

The Caretaker Chairman asserted that he would place welfare of the residents as priority and ensure all inclusive participation of the people in the day to day running of his administration, says their opinions would be treated with high respect.

At one of the health centre visited, “Mosfala Health Centre” the council boss promised that, all abandoned health equipment and buildings at the health center will be renovated to expected standard.

He disclosed that the health facilities would be use at health center extension, adding that his administration would do all within its power to improve the standard health care of his council.

The Chairman said provision of adequate security, social amenities and other health facilities and equipment that would aid the smooth running of free health treatments for the people of the area will be priority.

Hon Kazeem advised residence to do away with tendencies that could divide or impede the urgent developmental efforts in the LCDA.
