Akinyele PDP Youths Receive Aare Kazeem Arulogun as He Declares for 2027 State Assembly Ambition
A rising youth figure from Ibadan, Aare Lasisi Kazeem Arulogun, has formally declared his intention to contest the Akinyele Constituency 1 seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly in the 2027 general elections.
Kazeem, who hails from Arulogun Village in Ward 3 of Akinyele Local Government Area, made the declaration on Saturday during a visit to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Youth meeting in the council area.
He said his ambition is driven by a genuine passion for community development and the desire to represent the interests of the people at the grassroots.
Speaking during the visit, Arulogun emphasized that his decision to join active politics is neither motivated by the pursuit of power nor wealth, but by a commitment to improving the lives of the people.
“My mission in politics is to touch lives at the grassroots and effect meaningful transformation for the masses. Contesting in 2027 is an opportunity to champion the interests of my people whenever I am given the chance,” he said.
He further noted that holding an elective office would enable him to contribute practical solutions to lingering developmental challenges and foster growth in Akinyele Local Government.
In his remarks, the PDP Youth Leader in Akinyele Local Government, Mr. Isiaka Bello Emiloju, commended Arulogun for choosing the youth as his first point of engagement in declaring his ambition.
He described his aspiration as inspiring and reflective of the kind of youthful representating the people desire.
Emiloju assured him of the youths’ cooperation and support where necessary, adding that Arulogun’s determination represents a promising step toward renewed leadership in the constituency.
