Akinajo Foundation Buys JAMB Forms For Indigent Students

A non-governmental organization, Akinajo Foundation has purchased Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for 150 brilliant but indigent students of his constituency.

 

According to the data obtained by Westerndailynews.com, it was gathered that beneficiaries of the Akinajo Foundation gesture were students from different secondary schools in the Ibadan North East local government area of the state.

 

Miss Favor Taiwo, the coordinator, of Akinajo foundation while distributing the forms to the beneficiaries said that education remained the bedrock for the development and empowerment of the youths in the state, and such is the foundation little way to contribute to the effort of the Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde on education.

 

she said that the gesture became necessary because he believed in education’s core values.

Favor also added that the intervention was aimed at bridging the gaps and ensuring support for poor parents who could not sponsor their children and wards beyond secondary school.

“ Our foundation strongly believes in education values and that is why we are giving out JAMB forms to 150 brilliant but indigent students in Ibadan, not only that, we made sure they are those who are keenly interested in education.

” Giving out JAMB forms to relief the parents and guardians of indigent students is in line with our vision, our foundation has a great passion for education”, Miss Favor stated.
