Here we go again! Adebayo Adelabu, the self-crowned “next in line,” is shouting Èmi l’ókàn all over Oyo State as if the people owe him the governor’s seat for simply losing elections back-to-back. Oga Adelabu, abeg, losing twice is not “paying dues,” it’s paying school fees for lessons you never learned!

You said it’s your turn because you lost in 2019 and 2023? That’s like saying PHCN deserves an award for all the blackouts. Speaking of The Power sector oh sorry, Minister for Power you are charged to light up Nigeria, you have placed us in more darkness than before. How can someone who couldn’t power our bulbs now claim he can power an entire state? Bros, your transformer don blow long ago!

Let’s be real: Oyo State doesn’t need another politician on “low current.” We need a spark of new energy not recycled slogans and expired entitlement. The era of Èmi l’ókàn is gone; this is the time of Àwọn ènìyàn l’ókàn the people’s turn.

2027 would be a shocker for many of you lot. Our voice would be so loud the voice of the Mekunu – real owners of Oyo: the youth, the workers, the market women, the dreamers, the hustlers. We’re not waiting for any “turn,” we’re taking our turn with ideas, unity, and people power.

Let Oyo decide, not a few elites with loud slogans.

Let the will of the people, not the will of ambition, shape our future.

So, dear Mr. Adelabu, before shouting Èmi l’ókàn again, kindly check your voltage. The people of Oyo are fully charged.
