Akorede LCDA Chair To Fix Collapse Bridges, Grade Roads For Easy Access

In his on-the-spot assessment of community roads and bridges, the chairman Akorede Local Council Development Area, Hon. Wahab Kazeem has promised residence of
his council a quick reconstruction of roads and collapsed bridges within the LCDA.

Hon. Kazeem disclosed that, the quick reconstruction of bridges in most of areas of the council is highly needed because most serves as a channel that link communities.

The chairman expressed his displeasure over the negligence and poor handling of local roads by the past administration despite in possession of machineries.

Akorede boss nevertheless appeals to the communities leaderp to be patient that the present administration will reconstruct the collapsed bridges.

He urged the road users within the affected communities to be patient and use the alternative roads pending the completion of the bridges.

The LCDA Boss sympathised with the people of the communities and assured that efforts would be intensified to complete the reconstruction of bridges to bring permanent relief to them. He further promised the grading of roads for easy access of residence.

Hon. Kazeem therefore called on community leaders, Landlord associations in Akorede LCDA to in a matter of urgency visit the concerned department in the council to apply for the grading of their roads if it is necessary.

In appreciation , Baales , community leaders, landlords and residence expressed their gratitude to the Chairman and his working committee for their unscheduled roads assessment, assured the new council boss of their unflinching support.
