Niyi Adeagbo Extols Workers, Charges Them On More Productivity

The Executive Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government area of Oyo State, Hon. Niyi Adeagbo has extolled the virtues of the Local Government workers as he wished them a Happy Worker’s Day Celebration. 

While congratulating them on this year’s Workers’ Day, he appreciated the work they do in enhancing the smooth and effective running of the Council, describing it as  indispensable.

The Chairman thanked the workers for selflessly contributing their quota to making Itesiwaju Local Government the “best amongst others”.

He admonished them not to rest on their laurels and to keep working hard in achieving the Itesiwaju of their dream; giving them a mandate for more productivity so as to increase the Internally Generated Revenue of the LGA.

Hon. Adeagbo noted that “workers are essential people in our society; from the health sector, to the agricultural sector, to every sector; they make the society work and  move the wheel of the society”.

He promised that as soon as the negotiations between the Labour leaders and the State Government on payment of the new minimum wage is concluded, Itesiwaju Local Government will implement it without delay.

The Chairman wrapped it up by sending his warmest regard and deepest respect to all the hardworking people in Oyo State and the world over; praying that they enjoy the fruit of their labour.
