Ido Council Boss, Adeojo Commends Retired Staff For Commitment To Duty

 

The executive chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has described the career officers as the engine room for the smooth and effective functioning of the local government.

The Chairman
gave the words of commendation during the send forth program organized by the Christian chapel, Ido local government to some of the chapel members who are retiring from the active service.

The chairman in his words of commendation said the civil servants are the engine room for the smooth and effective running of the local government.

Hon. Adeojo advised the retiring officers to use their wealth of experiences with which they have served the government for thirty-five to venture into a business that can sustain them in making ends meet after service.

The retired officers are Mr. Israel Adebayo, Mr. Makinde Paul, Mr. Ayeyemi Ekundayo, Deaconess A. M. Fatola, and Mrs. J. B. Osunlola.

The local government Chaplain, Pastor Olaifa in his sermon, admonished the retirees that they only retired from active service they should not be tired of competing actively in making changes in society with their wealth of experiences as loneliness after service may bring sickness and untimely death which would not be their portion.

The Chaplain equally elougised the council boss, Hon Sheriff Adeojo for his friendly disposition towards the staff.
