Gov. Makinde, Famojuro Duped, There’s Nothing Like NNPP Arewa Exco – Oyo Kwankwansiya Movement
A group within the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Oyo State Chapter has urged governor Seyi Makinde, his party, PDP and allies, to stop wasting state money, all because of seeking re-election.
The group, Kwankwasiyya movement, which is the only recognized support group from the Arewa community by NNPP in Oyo state made the statement in Ibadan on Tuesday morning, after watching on the internet, some Hausa individuals declaring support for the state governor’s second term bid.
Mallam Ibrahim Khilifa, the coordinator of the Kwankwasiyya movement in Oyo state while addressing journalists at the Saabo area of Ibadan, said governor Makinde ignorantly fall victim to another scam project.
Mallam Khilifa explained that a person like governor Makinde and his allies supposedly have known that people that visited them, claiming NNPP Arewa excos were nothing but political parasites.
Speaking further, Khilifa said, it is understandable that governor Seyi Makinde is desperate to win his re-election, but advised him to be wary of people he’s giving money as most of the people and groups endorsing him are fake with no electoral value.
” It is very surprising that a state governor, like Seyi Makinde, will continue to be scam victim all because of his desperation to be re-elected.
” Kwankwansiya, the only recognized group from the Arewa community by New Nigeria People’s Party, Oyo state chapter wishes to state it categorically that, none of its members was among those that went to governor Makinde’s house for the purported endorsement.
“We will like to educate governor Makinde, his party, and allies that, there is no group or recognized section of people within the Arewa Community called NNPP Arewa excos.
” In as much, neither APC nor PDP has Arewa exco in Oyo state, therefore governor Makinde shouldn’t have been carried away to believe that, NNPP Arewa exco is in existence in Oyo state.
” Kwankwansiya Movement wish to say categorically, without an apology that, the state governor, Seyi Makinde has again experienced an election scam.
“It would have been good if the state governor in the last 3 and half years have associated with the entire Arewa community in Oyo state with equity, distribution of wealth, and social amenities but it is unfortunate that he intentionally waited till election time to adopt, give and take method in dealing with the Hausa people living in Oyo state.
Funnily, we appreciate the state governor for giving Alms to the poor (acclaimed Arewa exco ) that visited him, he should know that the Arewa community is not divisive and the only recognized Arewa group with NNPP in Oyo state is Kwankwansiya and we are very committed to the party under the leadership of Alhaji Adebisi Oloppeyan.
